Thinking Computers can help through...

  • Advice Buying advice. To make sure that the computer or peripheral (scanner, printer etc) you get is the right one for you. This can save you a lot of money and disappointment.Systems can also be built to your specification

  • Home/work based tuition at your convenience to help you get the most from your computer.
Contrary to what computer suppliers say, we know that computers are not always simple to set up or use. Home based tuition can really increase your knowledge (& confidence) and help you get more from them.
One of the most important lessons to learn about computers is how to maintain them properly.

  • Use of 'Peripherals'. The printers, scanners, modems and backup devices etc., you use to make your computing use interesting, productive and safe can be pretty tricky to master themselves. Home tuition or guidance can help you get the most from them.

  • Problem solving. No matter how carefully you look after your computer if it is going to be used regularly and it is running Windows ME, 98, 95 or 3.1, IT WILL DEFINITELY CRASH! And just so Mac users don't feel superior, if you are using a Mac, that will crash as well no matter what OS version you are using. Routine home maintenance will reduce the number of crashes but they will still happen.
Knowing what to do when a crash happens will save you valuable time and money (and give you a great deal of self satisfaction!). But when the problems seem insurmountable 'Thinking Computers will help you get up and running again.
